Guerrier was later named player of the game, as he made two free throws, spent 40 minutes in the game, and had a final point total of 13. The Jaguars beat the Gladiators 52-40 at the Nov. 30 game.

Jazz director Christopher De Leon conducts the Jazz Ensemble 1 band in preparation for their first concert of the year. De Leon began teaching the jazz band last school year, and has since noticed many differences between this school year and last. “Its been great to establish something steady, and be able to see all of them and start to get that energy [and] bonding that a band usually has together,” De Leon said.

Vocal senior Shweta Pandit participates in early voting on Nov. 1 at the Mandel Public Library. Pandit was part of 62 percent of Florida’s voters that participated in early voting before Election Day on Nov. 3. She believes “it’s important to vote to have your wants to be heard by the government, but it is especially important now to vote early since you most likely won’t have to wait in longer lines with a bunch of people around you during the pandemic.”

Juniors celebrate their dodgeball victory over the seniors. With first place in the game, juniors brought their total number of Spirit Week points to 40, tying with the seniors for the most points. “I think we won because we all had great teamwork,” theatre junior Christopher Hesse said. “We all were really dedicated to the cause, and we know that this is going to be the year that the juniors beat the seniors, and so we were all so devout to that one cause that we just went bananas.”
