Guerrier was later named player of the game, as he made two free throws, spent 40 minutes in the game, and had a final point total of 13. The Jaguars beat the Gladiators 52-40 at the Nov. 30 game.

Sofia Kissel is a first-year staffer and writer on The Muse. When she is not found writing, Sofia can usually be seen singing, creating poetry, or keeping up to-date on the fashion industry. She loves expressing herself through music, and has been recently most interested in broadcasting and neuropsychology. Sofia believes it is important to make everyone feel important and included, and tries her best to be welcoming so she is able to work well with others.

Listening to communications sophomore Josiah Manners’ speech, theatre sophomore Lillian Jones holds a sign that says “I am my ancestors wildest dreams.” Students and staff held similar signs as they gathered in front of the school and marched around campus. “I feel empowered,” Jones said. “I have never done this at any of my schools before, and I feel very unified.”

Preparing for the dress rehearsal, theatre senior Trey Mazza works behind the stage of the production “Pride and Prejudice.” During these rehearsals, Mazza writes down details regarding blocking to help each scene run smoothly and ensure the actors are aware of what to do. “I use all types of spreadsheets to keep organized from costume changes, sound cues, props, blocking, and set changes.” Mazza said. “This organization tactic is the structure behind the production.”
