A Homecoming on the Hardwood:

53 to 21, the first girl’s home basketball game was a fulfilling success. For the first time in jaguar history, the girl’s took the court in a blaze of glory and started their season with tight-knit comradery and chemistry.

 

 

 

As president of Mural Painting Society, visual senior Jackie Cohen poses in front of the club’s first on-campus mural, which was created in collaboration with the Good Thyme Gardening Club. Cohen can often be spotted around campus sporting a headband or hat with frog eyes because she “just like(s) frogs.” (Anna Jones)

 

 

 

A Face to the Frog: The Girl Under the Frog Hat 

Frog-headbands, frog hats, she likes frogs. A feature of visual senior Jackie Cohen depicts the importance of cross-hairs in nature and art. With the creation of her first mural, her art is a reflection of herself; what she hopes to reflect to those when they see her work.

It’s Not Perfect, But That’s The Point 

The release of Encanto made waves, telling a story of a Colombian family through expectations and stereotypes. In a representation of Colombia and its culture through the color, clothing, and architecture, the movie was a refreshing tale of a common family story.
