This one-eyed cat is just one example of the homeless animals at Peggy Adams Shelter. The shelter is encouraging people to adopt by allowing prospective owners the option of naming their own price.
There are dozens of kittens to choose from at Peggy Adams Shelter. When you adopt, your pet will already be spayed or neutered with their required shots.
This tuxedo kitten, Lucy, wandered around the shelter in need of affection. At Peggy Adams, prospective owners are given the opportunity to interact with the animals.
This 15-year-old mixed breed dog is eligible for Peggy Adams’ “Senior to Senior” program. The program encourages the elderly to adopt a senior pet for free.

Rowan Bennetti is a communications senior and Photo Editor on The Muse. After a brief year writing for the publication, Rowan decided to ditch the pen and pursue her passion for photojournalism instead. While battling inevitable senioritis, Rowan hopes to improve her skill set and bring beautiful visuals to the The Muse's pages. When she isn't frantically running around campus for a good picture, Rowan is most likely in the film room. Regardless of where she is, it's safe to say Rowan will have a camera (and no, she will not take your Instagram profile pic).
