[BRIEF] Boys Basketball Wins Close Game

%5BBRIEF%5D+Boys+Basketball+Wins+Close+Game

With 20 seconds left on the clock, the boys basketball team continued their away game winning streak with a victory against Berean Christian School, Dec. 12. The Jaguars and Bulldogs took turns being in the lead throughout the entire game, but efforts of 22 points in the second quarter alone allowed for their eventual success. In the end, it came down to a 3 pointer, in the final minute, sunk by band senior and team captain Nathan Goldin.

“There was a moment of silence when the ball was in the air and then the whole gym started screaming,” dance junior Keira Bliss said. “I don’t think anyone, including me, could sit down at any point during that game. Even the bench.”

The Jags have another game this Thursday, Dec. 14, at home against the John I. Leonard High School Lancers!
