Hairy Details held their holiday-themed show Dec. 14. The members of the improv troupe wore holiday costumes such as reindeer onesies and Santa Claus outfits. Co-president of Hairy Details and digital senior Coral Johnston wore a Mrs. Claus costume.

“Hairy Details is different from anything else at Dreyfoos,” Johnston said. “It gives students an opportunity to see a free, one-hour show where everything is improvised. The troupe is made of students from different majors and students seeing the shows go so that they can laugh, which I think is pretty special.”

Their next show is Jan. 19 during lunch in the Black Box Theater. Johnston looks forward to the shows and rehearsals because she has so much fun with the people in the troupe.

“I joined Hairy Details so that I could participate in an improvisation group, and so I could be involved in theater,” Johnston said. “Being in Hairy Details helps with my quick thinking, confidence, and leadership skills. It is one of the highlights of my years at Dreyfoos, and I’m so glad I joined.”
