The All County Orchestra sent music for students to start practicing as early as January. Auditions took place in mid-March, and selected students’ participation in All County culminated with a concert.

“We don’t require our students to do this. It’s an outside activity, an extra resume builder,” Orchestra Director Jeffrey Adkins said. “The incentive here is to meet other students, other talented string players from around the county, and to also work with some excellent guest conductors.”

Students rehearsed from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, April 22 and rehearsed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 23 to get ready for their concert at 6 p.m..
