NHS Blood Drive Coordinators theatre senior Starienne LoMonaco and strings senior Elise Lacy are organizing this year’s first blood drive. Because the drive takes place Oct. 18, the coordinators choose a halloween theme which they announced at NHS’ first general meeting Oct 4.

“I think the blood drive is important because we are currently in a national blood shortage and in need of blood donors so that we can help others get life saving treatments and surgeries,” LoMonaco said. “It is amazing that we can give our very own Dreyfoos students the opportunity to save lives and benefit the community.”
