BREAKING: SCHOOL PLACED UNDER CODE YELLOW DUE TO BOMB THREAT
The school was placed on a code yellow lockdown due to a phone threat called into the office.
According to Principal Dr. Susan Atherley, “Someone had a muffled voice, and they said that there were bombs planted around the school.”
At 1:58 p.m., the code yellow was lifted and students were allowed to return to their classrooms.
At least five other Palm Beach County Schools received similar calls and were placed on code yellow lockdowns. All threats are considered “non-credible” according to WPTV.
West Palm Beach police and school police officers are currently investigating the identity of the caller.
