THE MUSE
The Save Our Musicians Foundation partnered with the School of the Arts Foundation to host a fundraising concert for Bak Middle School of the Arts and Dreyfoos Nov. 18 at Tiki 52. Students, teachers, and their families had the opportunity to attend the concert. “I would consider myself one of the biggest country (music) fans at Dreyfoos. I’m actually not even going to meet the man (Luke Bryan) and I am freaking out,” digital media senior Cynthia Mondragon said before the concert.

The concert, held on Oct. 6, split the jazz band into three different skill levels, each of which got a chance to perform.

Sebastian works hard to increase the digital footprint of the publication, further engaging the student body and reaching a wider audience. Lila Goldstein is a second-year staffer on The Muse as well as News Editor. Lila has a passion for all kinds of writing, especially journalism, and is rarely ever without an opinion on current events. Outside of school, Lila loves to read, watch films, and collect records from vintage music stores (she so far has 62 albums). If you ever get in to a car with her and the Beatles radio station doesn’t immediately come on, something is terribly wrong. Lila is a green tea snob and West Palm Beach foodie, and always has a restaurant recommendation for Dreyfoos students. Maddy Rubin, Managing Editor
Communications senior Maddy Rubin is Print Managing Editor and a third-year staff member of The Muse. Outside of the publication, Rubin is the event coordinator of Dreyfoos’ Spanish Honor Society, a Speech and Debate Team member, and an intern for the School of the Arts Foundation, where she writes stories for www.soafi.org. Rubin is passionate about journalism and so thankful for all of the experience The Muse has provided her with.
