The boys basketball team commemorated their win against David Posnack Jewish Day School to the graduating senior players on Thursday, Jan. 30. With a final score of 57-48, this second win against Posnack of the season was much more fulfilling for Dreyfoos on the teams’ last home game of the season, and for the seniors, their last game at Dreyfoos.

“This is one of the greatest days of my life,” communications seniors Randen Lubart said. “To be a part of this is something I will never forget.”

The senior players were introduced at the beginning of the game, given each a rose and walked across the court alongside their parents. At halftime, the cast of “Legally Blonde” took over the court to perform a preview of the show. Minutes after the end of the game, the boys dumped a bucket full of water on coach and social studies teacher Jeffrey Stohr.

“The seniors are the backbone of the team,” Mr. Stohr said. “I’m going to miss them like they’re my own [children].”
