Carly Lynn Gates is a nationally certified journalism educator (CJE). She advises The Muse newsmagazine and website and The Marquee yearbook. She sponsors the New Voices club and the Quill and Scroll journalism honor society on campus. She holds an MFA in creative writing from The University of the South’s School of Letters and is pursuing a graduate certificate in journalism education from Kent State University.
