Every Halloween students convene in the gym during lunch to watch their fellow peers battle it out in the various contests that make Fall Festival the spirited frenzy that it is. Though it took place a day prior to Halloween this year, students were as enthusiastically costume clad as ever.

The usual festivities of donut-on-a-string, balloon sitting, pie eating, and costume contesting comprised this year’s Fall Festival. The mummy wrap competition that has generally been included in years past was replaced by a new and by far grosser activity called “What are you feeling?” of which prompted many hilariously disgusted reactions from both teacher and student participants. To draw in even further student involvement, SGA had the newly established Baking Club sponsor the pies used in the pie-eating contest, as well.

“I thought it went really well,” band senior and SGA president Ethan Weatherdon said. “Lots of awesome costumes. Ms. Little dressed as Yoda. What else could you ask for?’
