The 32 vocal students at the Fort Lauderdale Airport before embarking to Wales for a choral competition .

Thirty-two vocal students and vocal teacher Arlene Sparks departed for Wales on July 4 to compete in the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod. They will be competing against choral groups from more than 50 countries across the globe. Although the entire group will be competing together in the choral division, five students were accepted to compete in solo competitions. Vocal alumnus Juan Suarez and vocal seniors Matthew Mellusi, Virginia Mims, Drew Tanabe and Cara Young will be representing our school in the solo division. They will be in the United Kingdom for the next 12 days. To follow their progress visit http://www.music-contact.com/2014dreyfoos where they will be posting blogs and photos of the trip along the way.
