Guerrier was later named player of the game, as he made two free throws, spent 40 minutes in the game, and had a final point total of 13. The Jaguars beat the Gladiators 52-40 at the Nov. 30 game.

Carefully tracing the letters of her poster, co-president of the Colleen Hoover Book Club, and communications sophomore Kendall Smith, prepares for Club Rush. “We felt like there’s a huge community of people, especially in highschool, that really enjoy Colleen Hoovers books and all the different layers behind them,” said Smith. “We wanted to create a fun and safe space to talk about them.”

Last Wednesday, club officers stayed after school to prepare for the annual Club Rush. They decorated their tables with colorful balloons, posters, and candy to accompany their designated table. As SGA Co-President, communications senior Christian Chantayan was responsible for helping set up the gym and organize the logistics for the event. “Many students weren’t able to find sponsors for their club, and many students separately came up with duplicate club ideas, so SGA had to find club sponsors and help merge similar clubs,” Chantayan said. “It was a lot. Im just glad I have an amazing team of people who stepped up when we needed them in order to make it happen.”
