[BRIEF] Fire Alarm Interrupts Class

%5BBRIEF%5D+Fire+Alarm+Interrupts+Class

The fire alarm went off at about 1:11pm on Wed., Feb 7. Students exited campus after a P.A. announcement from Principal Blake Bennett.

According to a text from Ms. Bennett to teachers, the fire alarm was mistakenly set off by workers. Following district procedure, students must wait to re-enter campus until the fire department arrives and gives the all clear.

“Looks like some workers set it off, but we still have to follow procedure and wait for the fire department. Sorry for the inconvenience,” Ms. Bennett’s text to teachers said.

Update: At 1:31 PM, the fire department arrived on campus.

Update: At 1:34 PM, the all clear was called and students were escorted back inside.
