![Working as hard as she can during her planning period, social studies teacher Afton May gets as much done as she can in-school. Because of her two part time jobs, May was not usually able to do grading and preparing for class after school. “[Working] from about 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. every day of the week is pretty hard,” May said. “I have cut back on what I take home, when it comes to teaching.
