The Speech and Debate Team competed at the first local tournament of the year Sept. 13: PBCFL #1 at Olympic Heights Community High School.  Every first-time competitor in the Novice Congress division placed in the top six, a total of seven students. 

Including all of the novices placing top six, the following students also placed top six in their respective divisions.
