%5BBRIEF%5D+Boys+Basketball+Starts+Their+Season

The Jaguars played the Dr. Joaquin Garcia Bulldogs on Nov. 27. The game resulted in a 26-67 loss, making it the first home loss of the season. But on Nov. 29, they claimed a 52-40 win on home court against Riviera Beach Preparatory and Achievement Academy. Maintaining their streak, the team also won their game against Village Academy High School on Nov. 30 by a score of 52-45, maintaining a lead through all four quarters.

Leading the team in points, rebounds, and blocks (13.3, 7.7, 2.3), Digital media junior Tyson Jimerson is “proud of [his] team’s progress.”

“We had limited time to practice before the season compared to other teams,” Jimerson said.“I think we have created great chemistry that’s only getting better.”
