Visual freshman Gabi Thomadis sits at her desk and sketches in her sketchbook in a nearly empty classroom. Many students stayed home today so that they could help their families prepare for the hurricane possibly heading towards Florida. “I had to come because I had too much stuff to do at school today” Thomadis said.
