The Muse is working to provide live team coverage of Hurricane Dorian and its impacts on our community. Check below for updates.

Monday, Sept. 2 12:47 p.m. School closures have been extended through Wednesday in anticipation of Dorian’s impact.

Sunday. Sept. 1 8:00 p.m. The Weather Channel reports that all of eastern Palm Beach County is under a hurricane watch. Counties north of Palm Beach are under a warning. Dorian has slowed down from 7 mph to 5 mph. Sustained winds remain at 185 mph as a Category 5, with gusts topping 200 mph. Right now, Dorian is east of Freeport, Grand Bahama. At Dreyfoos, Chandan is the president of the senior class and the vice president for A.R.T.S. Club. He is also the president of the Dreyfoos Speech and Debate Team.
