Guerrier was later named player of the game, as he made two free throws, spent 40 minutes in the game, and had a final point total of 13. The Jaguars beat the Gladiators 52-40 at the Nov. 30 game.

Communications senior Valerie Betts is a second-year staffer on The Muse. As Multimedia Editor, she collaborates with other sections to produce video packages. Because she has always had a passion for visual storytelling, she plans to go on and study film or media management in college. Her goal is to tell the important stories no one is focusing on whether that is through journalism, film, or simply her everyday life.

Featuring music and dancing, carnival games, and a costume contest, on Oct. 18, the gym was transformed into a “Nightmare on Fern Street.” Hosted by SGA, the night’s main attraction was a “Demented Dreyfoos” themed haunted house. This new take on the creation of the Fall Dance began last year while brainstorming fall activities.

Placed on a white podium, a gold, metal-wire sculpture is featured, illuminated under the iridescent spotlight. The Visual Arts/Digital Media Spring Show featured a diverse range of art mediums from acrylic paint to charcoal, as well as a variety of subjects from fruit to portraits. Spectators were able to see the culmination of hard work by visual and digital media students leading up to the art gallery on April 11, through both upstairs and downstairs exhibit galleries found in Building 9.
