Hundreds of civilizations will be cut from the AP World History curriculum, including Greece, Rome, Han China, and Gupta India. The College Board has decided that world history starts at 1200 AD, just 250 years before Europe colonized most of the world. In the latest edition of AM Good Morning, social studies teacher Wendy Zietz discusses how AP World teachers can avoid whitewashing history, even if the College Board already has.
