The Save Our Musicians Foundation partnered with the School of the Arts Foundation to host a fundraising concert for Bak Middle School of the Arts and Dreyfoos Nov. 18 at Tiki 52. Students, teachers, and their families had the opportunity to attend the concert. “I would consider myself one of the biggest country (music) fans at Dreyfoos. I’m actually not even going to meet the man (Luke Bryan) and I am freaking out,” digital media senior Cynthia Mondragon said before the concert.

The Dreyfoos’ Foundation annual Luncheon took place on Thursday, Feb. 24, at the Kravis Center Cohen Pavilion. The event was hosted by Ashleigh Walters from West Palm Beach News and Weather (WPBF). Chair Alice Randolph is a SOAFI Board Member and Co-Chair Kristina Yang volunteers for the Dance Department and PTSO.

The event included both a silent auction, as well as lunch that was catered by The Breakers Palm Beach. Throughout the event, there were a variety of performances from students showcasing the different majors on campus, including a dance performance, a string quartet, and two poetry readings. Two theatre performances took place, one of which being “All That Jazz,” led by Emily Rubino and a prologue from “The First Date.” The jazz band greeted and played for the guests.
