Virtuosix: A combination of “virtuosicand six featured students from the piano department’s Klavier class for their show on Feb. 4. Piano sophomore Alessandra Barefoot, one of six students featured in the recital, practiced an assortment of pieces from composers such as Chopin and Beethoven before the show.

“I think our program is full of really exciting pieces that are engaging with the audience,” Barefoot said. “So, even if you don’t normally listen to music, or classical music in general, I think anyone could enjoy the performance and should come if they can.”

The group of six, alongside Barefoot, includes piano sophomores Christina Wang, Angelina Pashkovska, Jacob Liu, and Jason Huang, and piano freshman Josetta Wang. The recital will be held in the Brandt Black Box Theater at 6 p.m. on Friday Feb. 4, and tickets are on sale for students for $5. Tickets are free for music students.
