“All I’m Asking is for a Little Respect”
Searching for her future school, digital sophomore Alice Mackenzie talks with a college representative while other students gather alongside her at different booths. At the annual College Fair, students had the opportunity to interact with representatives from over 80 schools nationwide. They had time to ask questions and exchange contact information to learn more about colleges they are interested in.
Seeking out the Right School
Last Wednesday, club officers stayed after school to prepare for the annual Club Rush. They decorated their tables with colorful balloons, posters, and candy to accompany their designated table. As SGA Co-President, communications senior Christian Chantayan was responsible for helping set up the gym and organize the logistics for the event. “Many students weren’t able to find sponsors for their club, and many students separately came up with duplicate club ideas, so SGA had to find club sponsors and help merge similar clubs,” Chantayan said. “It was a lot. Im just glad I have an amazing team of people who stepped up when we needed them in order to make it happen.”

“The Last Hoorah”
Before the curtain closes for the finale, the philharmonic orchestra and entire vocal department end the matinee Prism performance with “When You Believe” from “The Prince of Egypt.” Conducted by band director Evan Rogovin, this was one of two mass pieces in the show and highlighted the cumulative talent and work of every musician.
Dreyfoos Hall is Alive with the Sound of Music
Circling the main platform, the cast of “The Bee” performs “Pandemonium,” accompanied by audience volunteers, for the crowd of theatre students during the Nov. 10 preview. This was their first show with an audience and served as a chance to improve any last components before the official show opening.

Preparing for the dress rehearsal, theatre senior Trey Mazza works behind the stage of the production “Pride and Prejudice.” During these rehearsals, Mazza writes down details regarding blocking to help each scene run smoothly and ensure the actors are aware of what to do. “I use all types of spreadsheets to keep organized from costume changes, sound cues, props, blocking, and set changes.” Mazza said. “This organization tactic is the structure behind the production.”

Communications senior Jordan Teitelbaum created the @dreyfoosbeauties Instagram account in November of 2020, and has since used the platform with the intent of spreading positivity throughout campus.
Inner Beauty Shines
Circling the cafeteria, communications senior Christian Chantayan leads the conga line as music blasts through speakers. One by one students and teachers joined the line during the Fiesta. “Ive always wanted to lead a conga line. I was presented with the opportunity spontaneously, and I took it, and I led an entire cafeteria of people,” Chantayan said.

Dhana played keeper in the game and was responsible for preventing the Jupiter team from scoring goals. “The hardest thing about playing keeper is the self-inflicted injuries,” Dhana said. “It’s extremely easy to get in and come out in a lot of pain.”
