CRANBERRY BRIE BITES

RECIPE #2: Cranberry Brie Bites

Start to Finish: 35 minutes

Servings: 24

The second recipe, courtesy of Lauren Miyashiro, consists of one of Thanksgiving’s most popular staple foods: cranberries. This delicious, savory treat only takes about 35 minutes and yields about 24 Cranberry Brie Bites. Our only tip is to go easy on the rosemary, unless you want to feel it clearing out your nasal passages.

Ingredients

  • 8-oz. tube of crescent dough
  • Cooking spray
  • 8-oz. wheel of brie
  • Flour
  • ½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans
  • Rosemary

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a mini muffin tin with cooking spray.
  2. Lightly sprinkle flour onto a clean surface and roll out the crescent dough onto the surface. Pinch the seams in the dough together.
  3. Cut the dough into 24 square pieces and place the pieces into the muffin tin.
  4. Cut the brie into small pieces and place them into the center of the dough, along with a spoonful of cranberry sauce, chopped pecans, and a dash of rosemary.
  5. Bake the pastries for about 15 minutes or until they are golden. The bites need a few minutes to cool down but are best served warm.
