Guerrier was later named player of the game, as he made two free throws, spent 40 minutes in the game, and had a final point total of 13. The Jaguars beat the Gladiators 52-40 at the Nov. 30 game.

Maddy Rubin, Managing Editor

Communications senior Maddy Rubin is Print Managing Editor and a third-year staff member of The Muse. Outside of the publication, Rubin is the event coordinator of Dreyfoos’ Spanish Honor Society, a Speech and Debate Team member, and an intern for the School of the Arts Foundation, where she writes stories for www.soafi.org. Rubin is passionate about journalism and so thankful for all of the experience The Muse has provided her with. She can’t wait for another amazing year working alongside her Muse family to create content for the Dreyfoos community!

Jorge Torres works as a day custodian at Dreyfoos, a job which he occupies for his seventh year this school year. While making his way across school-grounds, he can often be found with headphones in his ears. “I listen to music all the time,” Torres said. “I like merengue, bachata, reggae, and pop—pretty much all music; I don’t have a favorite.”
