Vocal senior Noah Gunn casts his vote in The Muses school wide mock election poll for Issue 2. I thought that the Mock Election seemed more like a pop quiz than an election, and that Hillary (Clinton) will definitely win at Dreyfoos, due to the extreme liberal leaning, progressive, young population, Gunn said. Students are encouraged to cast their vote in their history classes, or online at tinyurl.com/musesurvey.

Theatre senior Ben Rothschild plays the drums as Dreyfoos club, The Collective, performs at lunch to celebrate International Womens Day. We decided to put on a show for the club because we love the cause. It was really fun and a great opportunity to celebrate women and get people together through music, vocal senior Makayla Forgione said. The Collective performed with various people from all majors to put on a show for students at lunch.

Visual freshman Gabi Thomadis sits at her desk and sketches in her sketchbook in a nearly empty classroom. Many students stayed home today so that they could help their families prepare for the hurricane possibly heading towards Florida. I had to come because I had too much stuff to do at school today Thomadis said.

(L-R) Band junior Lihn Ton, communications junior Dylan Pollak, and dance junior Pia Kresse practice racing the cars they built for physics class using only a rubber band and McDonalds trash. The process of creating the car was tedious, but it was rewarding to see my hard work pay off when it [the car] actually worked, Ton said.
