Guerrier was later named player of the game, as he made two free throws, spent 40 minutes in the game, and had a final point total of 13. The Jaguars beat the Gladiators 52-40 at the Nov. 30 game.

Along with other textbooks and language arts books, these history books also require vetting before being shown to students. “What were teaching is history. It’s facts,” Stohr said. “Were not dealing with theories here. (Book vetting) is just so frustrating.”

During Scholastic Journalism Week, The Muse staff attended a proofing stay-after for their upcoming third issue on Feb. 21 after school. The staff edited proofs — large, printed versions of the pages. This process allowed everyone to provide feedback on designs, photos, and stories before sending the issue off to print.
