“The Watcher” has premiered.

“All of Chris’ close friends and family were there,” communications junior Jessica Taylor said. “I think it helped a lot to have all those people there who supported him for so long.”

As well as their friends, some of Oh and Moores’ film teachers and supporters came to see the film.

“A group of young film makers made a serious, incredible attempt at conveying the social as well as the creative aspect of the coming of age experience,” communications teacher Ancil Deluz said.

After over a year in the making, “The Watcher” premiere proved to be a success. According to Oh, about 200 people came to the showing.

“I think the premiere definitely showed all the hard work that goes into the process of creating a movie,” communications senior “The Watcher” actor Ian Steele said. “It definitely displayed the fruits of our efforts.”

However, the end is not near for “The Watcher.” Oh and Moores plan on entering their film in multiple film festivals with high hopes of a win. DVD copies of “The Watcher” can be purchased directly from Christopher Oh for $3 each.
