Bedner’s Farm Hosts Fall Festival

If you are searching for somewhere to enjoy fall festivities, look no further than Bedner’s Farm Fall Festival. Bedner’s Farm, located in Boynton Beach, is hosting its annual festival to promote the fall season. This event will be held every weekend through Nov. 2 and includes many fun-filled activities for visitors of all ages. The farm has its own pumpkin patch, where all who visit are encouraged to search for the perfect pumpkin to take home. There is also a corn maze that is bigger and better than any year prior. The corn maze costs $4 per person. To navigate the maze, you will want to use the buddy system unless you plan on getting lost. The festival has a section dedicated to its younger customers. There is a field with several bounce houses and blow-up obstacle courses, along with pony rides and a petting zoo. There is a hayride that takes a tour throughout the 80 acre farm which is available to all ages. Traditional face painting has succumbed to the Halloween spirit and has turned into a special effects makeup tent. Customers can be made-under into a zombie or accident victim for prices $5 and up. For those who wish to enjoy the simplicity of the food vendors, Bedner’s has a field full of food tents that you can find at any fair or carnival.  Those who have a sweet tooth are drawn to the apple cider donut tent, where bite-sized donut rings are made with apple cider in the batter. Trucks for award-winning BBQ and homemade ice cream are featured at the farm. Kettle corn, roasted corn on the cob, hot dogs and fresh squeezed lemonade are also available. Bedner’s will be hosting a Halloween costume contest Sunday, Oct. 26 at 2:00 p.m. All ages are welcome to join the contest or attend to wacth.photo by Bedner's farm
