Guerrier was later named player of the game, as he made two free throws, spent 40 minutes in the game, and had a final point total of 13. The Jaguars beat the Gladiators 52-40 at the Nov. 30 game.

Coach Vaughan felt the teachers winning the game was a powerful moment not only to him but also to the school. “Its not really about winning (or) losing, even though we want to win. Its to make everybody happy. Were trying to participate and to show them that were real people too, not just robot teachers.” Vaughan said.
